
STORY OF MANU SHARMA
I have always been passionate about writing, storytelling, coaching, and training. I love to learn new things and experimenting with new ideas.
I started my career as an Assistant in the accounts department and was soon promoted to be an Officer. Within a year I joined a startup as a Manager. Soon the pressure of Managing the team got better of me and had to quit. I restarted my career as an Assistant and realized the mistakes and the skills I need to build to be a successful manager. Within a year I became the Head of the department and have been leading the team for the past 18 years. In my professional career spanning over 25 years, I had the opportunity of working at different levels and functional areas. As part of my job I was interacting with academicians, consultants, and directors, and CEOs of various Multinational organizations in the country, their advice, guidance, and support helped me to evolve as a Manager. I am a commerce graduate from Punjab University, Chandigarh. I did my MBA from IIMS, Calcutta. I have also done my Masters in Finance and Control from Punjab University, Chandigarh. I completed my Masters in Computer Application in 2018
I am no Guru or an expert, just a learner in the process. I have been nurturing my dream of writing a book and share my thoughts and ideas with the world. My first book Star Performer to a Corporate Tiger is about leadership, it is inspired by my corporate experience, my learnings from the works of the best-selling authors. I am enjoying the whole process, immersing myself in the projects—diving headfirst into the research.
